I hope this Friday finds you doing good and feeling well! National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo) continues. In case you were wondering, here’s my progress so far.

There have been a few rough days, but progress continues! It’s been stressful, and I finally understand why eyes twitch when I ask writer friends how they’re doing or if they’re participating in NaNoWriMo. This is my first year for making the attempt, and I’m already out of steam. Still, I push forward because I know that future me will appreciate any progress I make. I also love this story, and the joy of writing it keeps me going. If I start hating any part of the writing process, I won’t write. Hate writing doesn’t make for good chapters, I’ve noticed.

Anyway, that was this week’s update on how progress is going. Good luck to those participating in this year’s NaNoWriMo event. Don’t let a few setbacks keep you down. Progress is progress, no matter how small :)
